Simple steps you can do to help keep your pool water sparkling clean

Here are a few simple things you can do to help keep your pool water crystal clean and ready for your enjoyment year round:

Keep vegetation around the pool trimmed and away from the water line

Keep chemicals (like fertilizers) from your plants and lawn out of the pool. Run-off from them contain nitrates that are food for algae. Let’s not feed algae!

Waste from animals and people are food for algae, too

Frequently hose off your deck to keep dirt out of your pool. Don’t use soap to clean your deck because it contains phosphates that is a food for algae, too. Rinse away from your pool so your not adding dirt to the pool

Consider having your deck and pool area pressure cleaned at least once a year
